tomorrow's admission

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7
Thanks to so many who have let us know you are praying this week for Katrina's admission to MD Anderson Cancer Center to begin her second round of chemo tomorrow. In all honesty, there is some anxiety due to the complications of course one, but we trust the Lord for His supernatural peace in the AM as we begin this second Course. We'll be on the freeway early to get blood work done, then she sees Dr. Kantarjian and an Internal Medicine doctor before her scheduled admission. I am sure we'll find out in the AM what her last bone marrow aspiration on Monday showed. Louis was able to take the day off so he can be with her to get her settled. We will post tomorrow and let you know all the details.
Missy called this afternoon and told us the principal at Sampson has declared tomorrow "Yang's Gang" day so the whole school will be in their blue t-shirts. Such a fun show of support:) We sure appreciate all of you standing with Katrina during her chemotherapy! blessings, Lori

  1. I am praying for you, sweet friend! Today I wore my Yang's Gang T-Shirt. The manager at Pick Up Stix said that he knows Steve the pharmacist and that he would be praying for you. His daughter was just in a music performance that helped to raise $15,000 for her friend with Leukemia. You are covered in prayer...
    Warmly,

  8. Katrina,

Although I don't post everyday, there is not a day, a moment, even an hour that goes by that I don't think about you & lift you up in prayer to our loving & merciful Lord. He has you in the palm of His hand. He loves you so much. I will continue to pray and petition Him for a complication free round 2 of chemotherapy.

Lori & Louis - please let me know if y'all need anything. I'm only a phone call or email away.

Love, Hugs & Prayers to All,
    Dawn
