Mrs. Yang misses her students
What a bright spot in Katrina's day today. Two mom's came on behalf of the parents of her students with a gorgeous "Care Basket". We had fun showing her each and every sweet gift - all useful items for her current situation with the chemo treatment. There were cute slippers, pajamas, games, treats (that she can't wait until she is able to eat), lotions, a loaded cosmetic bag, current magazines, games, the softest bathrobe ever, and more:) It is such a thoughtful gesture! Her class picture is on the ledge in her room and all the nurses and many of the doctors have seen her class of kindergartners that she misses terribly. She has fun stories about each of them and their uniquenesses. Thank you, parents! Thank you for delivering the gift basket, Dawn and Angie. Your caring means so much! Lori

Mrs. Yang is truly a blessing to the children & to our Ashley. Today I saw Ashley typed all sort of stories she called non fiction & one of the story was about Mrs. Yang " Ashley went home and mommy was in the kitchen. Ashley told her mom that Mrs. Yang is in the hospital because her nose is bleeding"....you taughed my daughter so much in the past few months and I can tell she really misses you today
ReplyDeleteMrs. Yang, you put a lump in my throat when you said to Dawn & Angie that you were "so sorry I can be there to teach your children" I am so grateful that you think about them even now, the time that you should only focus on yourself & your treatment. I just taughed Ashley this prayer that we will repeatly praying this weekend:
"Dear Lord Jesus, look down from heaven upon my teacher, Mrs. Yang ,and soon make her well again.
Thou canst do all things; hear my prayer!
Amen.
