Blood Drive

YANG'S GANG BLOOD DRIVE

These donations directly benefit Mrs. Yang in the form of monetary credits!!
(MD Anderson is the only local organization offering direct financial credit to patients)

Ideally, we are looking for 18 platelet donors and 34 whole blood donors. Leukemia patients typically require 400 components of blood products throughout the course of treatment. Platelet donations require a two-hour time commitment. If you don't have that kind of time, we are also collecting whole blood donations, which are the quick in-and-out, have some juice & cookies and be on your way. Either donation is gratefully accepted.

Saturday, March 27th, 9:00-3:00
Location: Sampson Elementary, 16002 Coles Crossing Drive
Platelet donation times: 9:00, 11:00 and 1:00
Whole Blood donations approx. every 20 minutes starting at 9:20

Platelets: 1:00 p.m. (1 slot) – two hour commitment

If you are donating platelets, no ASPIRIN PRODUCTS (INCLUDING IBUPROFREN) for 48 hours prior.
