thankfulness...

"Let (us) give thanks to the Lord for His unfailing love and His wonderful deeds for men." Psalm 107:8/15/21/31
This post is to let you know that chemotherapy continues on schedule. Katrina got her Cytarabine and Citorvorum and it continues on into tonight. Blood levels will then be drawn. Her night nurse is Lyndsey, same nurse she had 2 nights ago. She did need one unit of blood today - that gives her energy back. THANK YOU to all who donated blood today in her name! And THANK YOU to all who are planning to in the near future at both blood drives in Texas and California!! She is responding well, and along with all you who are praying, we are thankful. Lori

  1. Wonderful news that everything seems to be going more smoothly. Love those nurses at MD Anderson. I don't think there are any better anywhere!

Love to all Yangs and Hilbergs,

  2. We are so happy that Katrina is doing much better with this round of chemo. Shannon gave blood the other day but was told that she couldn't designate it for Katrina but only give in her honor. I am a little confused out here in California but of course am praying all good things for Katrina, Lori, and Louis.

I'm so glad things are going better this round. You've been on my mind and in my heart constantly. This blog now pops up as my most visited page! How is the jaw pain? I haven't read any negative jaw comments recently. I'm hopeful that is a good sign.

    Love to you all,
    Shannon Poole and family

  5. Katrina-
We've been thinking of you all weekend at the MM 2.0 Marriage retreat. We've prayed for you a lot and missed you two this year. We expect that you'll be healthy and ready to attend the retreat next year! We are looking forward to that! Louis- we thought of you as we folded our money into the little slots at the $3 parking lot. Remember that last year? :)
