Saturday, day 5

Katrina was discharged from the hospital this AM and happy to be home. The chemo ended about 4AM. Her day nurse was efficient in discharge procedures this AM:) She has had a headache the past couple of mornings so please pray that doesn't continue. It could be from one of the medications or the chemo. Her blood pressure and pulse have remained normal- thank you for praying for her vital signs to stabilize. She has felt pretty good today but this evening has had some stomach upset and is pretty tired, which isn't unusual with the chemo. It will be nice for her to sleep in her own bed and not have IV's going!Lori

  5. Hi, it was wonderful to see such a lovely picture of you two. I told my Mother Grace in Decorah the news from the updates. She said she prays every night for you - and I'm sure she does... 4 of us are going to Decorah tomorrow, plus spouses, to see Mother. Jr. and Judy will be home, too. I'm glad Steve is with the family this week-end. Greetings to everyone from all of us.

God is good and He loves you. Blessings.

  7. Katrina,
Yesterday I wore my Yang's Gang shirt to a church function and got lots of questions about it! I felt honored to get to share your story. A few people even said they'd be praying for you!

Praying for you as you're be back at home. Enjoy the time with your family!
