day 8 of course #3

Jer. 32:27, "Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is anything too hard for me?"

Today was fairly uneventful. After Katrina's long out patient day yesterday, a day at home was most welcome. Katrina had a difficult time today with headaches. As long as she was lying down, she felt the best, but that presents its own set of problems such as an achy body. What the nurse told her yesterday was that the first lumbar puncture was probably causing the headache. Then she had to have her second LP yesterday with another chemo infusion. A mild pain med didn't help much but she also had caffeine drinks today as that is a vasoconstrictor and seemed to help the headaches some. The Neulasta injection that she got yesterday & will stimulate her white blood cell production is starting to cause some body aching which is typical. All in all, she didn't have a very comfortable day. She read and did get outside for a nice walk -it was a lovely day in Houston. The chemo is just hard on the body. Her last chemo drug of this course #3 is on Friday. Thanks for praying- please pray for relief from the headaches. Lori (Go Lakers!)
