"For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins." Colossians 1:13-14 (from the Easter sermon tonight at Bear Creek)
Our day started bright and early as we were scheduled to be at MD Anderson at 7:15 for blood work this AM. As anticipated, we found out that Katina's White Blood Cell count is way down. This AM it was .2- so no Easter service for her this year. It is not good to be in a big crowd with low counts. She has had the Neulasta injection so that should begin to stimulate production of white cells over this next week. For now, we need to be careful. Her blood pressure is also low today. The nurse told her to drink a lot and she might be dehydrated. She was blessed today with lunch and a visit from her former roommate Sara and then her "moms" from her Kindergarten class came by with a lovely Easter basket for her and a pasta dinner for us. We never cease to be amazed by the love and support shown to her during this time of going through cancer treatment. We know the Lord is with us and He shows His love through dear friends and even strangers. May you have a blessed Easter!! Lori

"May you understand how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love really is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is so great you will never fully understand it. Then you will be filled with the fullness of life and power and stength that comes from God" Ephesians 3:18-19
Jesus Christ is Risen!
