Wondering what this week will bring

"When we know Who, we can stop asking, "Why" (Charles Swindoll)
Katrina (and Louis and I) had the pleasure of Louis' parents coming to visit today. They came bearing gifts- wonderful apples, grapes, blueberries- so delicious and thoughtful! It is always enjoyable to have the time together to talk and they are encouraging to Katrina and Louis.
Just as Katrina was getting over some effects of this course of chemo, the body aches started again late yesterday. She has had them all day today. Please pray for relief from them very soon. She can take a pain med and does but it doesn't completely relieve the pain. She feels best lying very still so that makes for a long day.
She has an appointment with the local doctor's office to have her blood drawn on Monday AM. It will give us a good indication on how her counts are going up and that will dictate when she can be admitted for her last course of chemo. Thursday is day 21 so that is the target date and we are praying she will be ready.
As always, thank you for your much valued prayers for her over the long-haul! blessings, Lori

Katrina, you seem to be facing quite a challenge. Our prayers are with you. Be hopeful as you come to your last chemo treatment. God bless you.

I just listened to this song and was reminded of how blessed we are to be able to stand in the power of Christ. You have certainly been a testimony to this throughout your ordeal! Finish strong in the power of Christ :)
