"Oh the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God." Romans 11:3
Today Katrina had her blood labs drawn in Katy. We were pleased to see the results of the blood transfusion from Monday, where her hemoglobin went from a very low 6.9 to 9.6 this AM. Her white count went from 0.0 to .1 so in a few more days we should see it rise and approach a normal range. Her platelets dropped again and were only 16 today (normal 150-400) so we fully expect the need for a platelet transfusion tomorrow. We "packed" this evening for a long day tomorrow at MD Anderson where she'll have blood work done and see her doctor. If she is on her 21 day schedule, he will schedule her for course #8 admission next Thursday. Yes, it will be a miracle if her counts recover fast enough for that. We will let you know what the doctor advises after Katrina sees him tomorrow AM. Please pray she can get a room for transfusion early in the afternoon, if it is needed rather than, say 7:00 at night which is always a possibility. The platelets don't take too long to transfuse once a room is available at this busy Cancer Center. Thank you for your faithful prayers for Katrina! Lori

and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Do not cast me from your presence
or take your Holy Spirit from me.
Restore to me the joy of your salvation
and grant me a willing spirit,
to sustain me."
May God bless you and your family, Katrina,
as you have your treatments in the next
few weeks.
