Happy last day of chemo to Katrina!

"Let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you." Psalm 5:11 (from worship yesterday)
It was a rather long day at MD Anderson but a red-letter day. Although Katrina is not "done" with her course #8, her chemotherapy was completed today!! Her lumbar puncture with chemo infusion went very well. She is feeling fine tonight with no headaches:) Thanks to everyone for praying for her and thank you Sheena for your skill and accuracy in doing the procedure. She is actually feeling pretty good in general. Her white count dropped to .6 and the platelets have quickly fallen and were only 49 this AM. Her hemoglobin is still ok. She anticipates transfusions later this week. Her blood counts will be carefully monitored over the next few weeks. Lori
