Low Counts... Last Cycle!

"Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one that I praise."
-Jeremiah 17:14

Today I had my blood work done in Katy and as I expected, all of my counts were very low. My white count is down to .1 and I am already bored with being home... this is going to be a LONG two weeks. My hemoglobin and platelets were also fairly low so I am thinking that Friday may be a day full of transfusions. Other than feeling tired and my stomach still not feeling totally normal, I have been feeling pretty good. Even when I am not feeling great, it is all easier to deal with knowing that this is the last time! Speaking of last time, I made it through my 16th LP with the help of the talented Sheena... here she is:

  3. For some reason, Sheena looks exactly like I thought she would. Must have been easier with that big smile too. We can all thank Sheena along with you. I guess if the counts are so low, then there is no other place to go than up. So my prayer is just going to be up, up, UP!!!

    With continued prayer,

  6. Katrina I've been praying for you and thinking of you the past few weeks. Sorry I've been a stranger but I was actually in the hospital myself for 3 days this week. Nonetheless, you've been on my mind and I am so very happy that you are finished with chemo! Hooray!
