hospital discharge #6

"Then you will know that I am the Lord; those who hope in me will not be disappointed."
Isaiah 49:23
Katrina finished her inpatient chemo early this AM and was discharged and back home by mid-morning. All aspects of the course 6 chemo went well and she spent the anticipated five days in the hospital, so thank you for your prayers on her behalf. Now she is feeling the effects of chemo...so please pray for relief from her body aches. She has a strong pain med she can take but she is achy as it wears off. She is also feeling some nausea from the chemo, which she is taking medication for but the nausea is still there. Then there is the fatigue to manage. So, please pray for her strength and health as she gets through these chemo side effects. It is hard for her to be feeling good as she enters the Cancer Center for chemo treatments and then comes home feeling so bad. The end is in sight but the day to day is hard when she has pain to endure. Her treatment is 8 courses of chemotherapy which will be completed in August! Thanks for prayerfully putting her in the hands of our God who is our Hope. Lori
