Almost to the end of course #5...

"The power of prayer is in the One who hears it and not the one who says it. Our prayers do make a difference." Max Lucado
Today was a better day for Katrina. She is feeling much better. Thanks for all the encouragement sent her way through prayers, kind words & Scripture verses, and food:) She is blessed by so many caring friends and family members. This Friday she will get the last of the out-patient chemo for course #5 --and then she has 3 courses left. During her first course in February, this course 5 seemed an eternity away!
Her blood labs were done in Katy today and the numbers were about where they usually are at this point in her course. Her white blood count is very low and the others are beginning to drop. Pray for health and no infection/fever as she gets through this time. Next week will be much better. She had a nice walk outside tonight (in spite of the humidity). We listened to my brother's (Katrina's uncle) sermon this afternoon from Romans 8. If you are going through any hard things and want to listen and be blessed through God's Work, it is: sunhills.org (El Dorado Hills, CA) and Dave taught on June 6. "Your prayers do make a difference" so thank you:) Lori
