"The Lord is faithful to all his promises and loving towards all he has made."
-Psalm 145:13
Yesterday my platelets were up a little from Wednesday, but not at all close to where they need to be for admission. My white count and hemoglobin were both down from earlier in the week and I am not sure how those counts will affect admission. I know that my platelets need to be 60 on Monday for Dr. Kantarjian to admit me and they are only 29. I am so anxious to get round 7 started and would appreciate your continued prayers for my counts. The devotion that I read yesterday morning was about Abraham and it made me realize just how impatient I have been about my chemo schedule. I have been frustrated with waiting an extra week to start chemo and Abraham had to wait until he was 100 for a son. I am trying to be patient and trust in God's timing for the completion of my treatments, but can't say it is easy. Thanks for your prayers!

Gracious God, through the miraculous intercession of St. Anthony, we ask Your blessing upon Mrs. Yang so that her bood count will go up to 60 so she can star her next round of chemo. Bless her so she may experience healing, and be restored to full health in mind and body.
ReplyDeleteAmen.
Mrs. Yang: I didn't see this post. Will pray this prayer tomorrow in mass.

Hey friend! It was good to see your hubby in church this morning but we wish you were by his side! We are fervently praying for your counts and will be checking your blog- we are awaiting our next journey to the land of MD Andy to come see you! Lots of love! Hope the rain brought you some peace and rest!

I hope your platelets go up. I miss you so much. Did you get my home made scarf and letter?

Psalm 46:1-3
ReplyDelete"God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, though
the earth give way
and the mountains fall into the
heart of the sea,
though its waters roar and foam
and the mountains quake with
their surging."
We pray that your platelet count goes to
where you can continue your chemo.
God bless you.
