John 14:27

"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts hurt be troubled and do not be afraid."

Thank you for all your prayers and the peace it has brought me today as I start chemo. Knock on wood, but I think that my biggest meltdown/obstacle today was showering and changing. Simple tasks are just not so simple any more (but it helps to have the best mom the world around for that!). Yet of course all I had to do was call a dear friend in tears and she already has a plan b waiting to be brought to my mom tomorrow. I am still finishing up some chemo for the night, will have a break in the morning and back at it again in the late afternoon. More from the wonderful world of MD Anderson later :)

  3. Glad things are going well with the chemo and that the first round is over! I thought about you all night and prayed, prayed, and prayed some more. Meltdowns? Don't worry...you are allowed as many of those as you like! You have a long way to go to catch up with some of us!

  5. I'm so glad your mom is there! Once you get a little break in the chemo, perhaps a trip to the Gap would help with the wardrobe meltdowns? Just a thought :-) Thinking and praying for you constantly.
