I know... I should be in bed

To all you mom's out there I have already scolded myself for not being in bed. Today has been my best day so far with regards to my pain. I start chemo tomorrow and our priority prayer is that I have little to no reaction to the medication I start. I have an aggressive form of leukemia so it needs to be treated aggressively. The great news is, it is VERY curable! Please pray that I get rest tonight with the unknown of what tomorrow brings.

  1. Katrina, It is so good to see your words and to know you had relief from your pain today. Our Bible study prayed for you tonight. I think the whole community of Temecula is praying for you. You are very well loved here:) We are praying for your rest, your healing, your family, and NO reaction from the medication. Thanks for writing this blog for us who long to be with you. 6. Katrina,
I am so glad to hear Thursday was a better pain management day for you. I hope you had a good night's rest, although I'm sure you were pretty anxious. I hope today goes well for you with the chemo. I have only known you for a few short months, but I can tell you have that "fighter" instinct in you.

  7. Another Pumper?

Hey Katrina! So I understand we have another pumper on our team; first Missy, now you. Well, pump away girl. Here's my idea...I'm sending adhesive tape. Press to activate the medication and tape that sucker down! Off to LaLa land...aaahhhh, sweet relief!

  8. Just reading this on Friday morning - sounds like you're probably already in your first chemo session. Praying hard. By the way, I just posted a video on my blog that might make you smile - some of Caroline's first giggles! Love you.

  9. Sweet Katrina, my thoughts and prayers are with you, your husband & family right now.
    Isaiah 54:10
"Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed," says the LORD, who has compassion on you.
