I just heard from my surgeon's PA with my pathology report from surgery. She said they confirmed cancer on both sides of my thyroid instead of just the right side like they thought. The best news she shared with me was that 0 of the 6 lymph nodes came back positive for cancer. This means there was NO lymph node involvement!!! Tomorrow I will see my endocrinologist at MDA and she said he would discuss the report in more depth with me and talk about what comes next. I am hoping this means I can skip any further treatment... it is going to be a long wait until 1:30 tomorrow :) Thank you so much for your prayers and faith that God is able to do the impossible!

ReplyDeleteOh....PRAISE THE LORD!!!!! It's wonderful to hear the great news we have been praying for! Your mom sent a text to me right when you heard. I had lunch with Jeff and when I told him, he started crying!!
