Two weeks

"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."
-John 14:27

I heard back from MD Anderson about my surgery consult. I am going in on October 21st to meet my surgeon and schedule surgery. I was hoping that it would be sooner, but hopefully I won't have to wait too long for surgery after the consult. On the plus side, I was able to sub for the afternoon in 1st grade at Sampson yesterday. I cannot even begin to explain how good it was to be back in the classroom again! Not only that, but the staff and students at Sampson are some of the best that I could ever ask to work with. When I showed up at school, all the teachers and many of the students were wearing their Yang's Gang shirts since I was coming. The positive to waiting for my consult is that I can sub a little more before surgery and I can't wait!

  3. I just updated myself as to your condition. First, I'm so sorry about the setback. Second, the t-shirts are still being worn, you've never left our thoughts and prayers, and your Yang Prayer warriors are here to envelop you as tight as we need to go! You have a rich testimony, and the testimony will become richer in the days ahead. I know you must be weary, but I admire and am humble to your faith, strength, and sweet, sweet spirit as you face this battle. We're here and not going anywhere...
