Getting brave

"I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and hear my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the Lord and put their trust in him."

-Psalm 40:1-3

This blog started out as a way to keep you all informed on my treatments and how I was doing, but it also became a personal journal of my journey. In order to document it all, I am going to be brave and post a picture I never really thought that I would. I still don't know if I agree with the whole bald is beautiful thing, but it sure hasn't been too bad. That being said... I am starting to get some fuzz so I figured I better take the bald picture before my hair comes back in!

  4. You can totally pull off bald - but even if you couldn't - that amazing smile would be enough to distract anyone. I'm envious! Congratulations on completing you treatment.

  7. Hair is certainly over-rated. Your picture radiates a spirit, beauty, and fighting warrior that goes so far beyond a hair style. The picture is such a strong reminder of the journey you've been through, and the hope, spirit, and faith that came through unscathed and radiates in every inch of your smile!
